At Stellar Beauty, we are committed to providing reliable, transparent, and legally compliant shipping services across Australia and internationally where available. This Shipping Policy forms part of our Terms & Conditions and complies with the Australian Consumer Law (“ACL”).
1. Processing Times
Orders are generally processed within 1–3 business days after payment has been successfully received and verified.
During peak periods, promotional campaigns, public holidays, supplier delays, or unforeseen operational events, processing times may be extended.
Processing times are estimates only and are not guaranteed dispatch times.
Orders placed on weekends or Victorian public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
2. Shipping Timeframes
Estimated shipping times commence after dispatch and are provided as a guide only.
Australia
- Standard Shipping: approximately 2–10 business days
- Express Shipping: approximately 1–5 business days
International Shipping
International delivery times vary depending on destination country, customs processing, and courier availability.
Customers are responsible for ensuring their local import regulations permit the products ordered.
3. Delivery Delays
While we aim to dispatch and deliver within estimated timeframes, delays may occur due to factors outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Courier delays
- Extreme weather events
- Customs inspections
- Public holidays
- High seasonal demand
- Supply chain disruptions
- Incorrect delivery information provided by the customer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stellar Beauty is not liable for indirect losses arising from shipping delays. However, nothing in this policy excludes consumer rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
4. Incorrect Address Information
Customers are solely responsible for ensuring all shipping information is accurate and complete at checkout.
If an incorrect address is supplied:
- We are not responsible for parcels delivered to the incorrect address provided by the customer.
- Additional shipping fees may apply for redirection or reshipping.
- Orders returned to us due to incorrect details may incur re-delivery charges.
We reserve the right to contact customers to verify address information before dispatch.
5. Authority to Leave (“ATL”)
If the customer authorises delivery without signature or selects “Authority to Leave”:
- The parcel will be deemed delivered once confirmed by the courier.
- Risk and responsibility for the parcel transfers to the customer upon delivery confirmation.
We strongly recommend selecting signature-on-delivery for high-value purchases.
6. Lost, Stolen or Damaged Parcels
If your parcel arrives damaged or appears lost in transit, please contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date.
We may:
- lodge an investigation with the courier,
- request supporting evidence,
- offer a replacement, store credit, or other remedy where required under applicable law.
We reserve the right to decline claims where:
- delivery has been confirmed by the courier,
- insufficient evidence is provided,
- the customer has authorised unattended delivery,
- fraudulent activity is suspected.
Nothing in this section limits rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.
7. Risk and Title
Ownership of products passes to the customer upon full payment.
Risk in the products passes to the customer:
- upon delivery,
- or upon collection by the customer or their nominated carrier,
whichever occurs first.
8. Shipping Restrictions
Certain products may be restricted from shipping to some locations due to:
- courier regulations,
- dangerous goods classifications,
- customs laws,
- or local import restrictions.
We reserve the right to cancel orders that cannot legally or safely be shipped.
Where possible, affected customers will receive a refund.
9. International Duties & Taxes
International customers are responsible for:
- customs duties,
- import taxes,
- VAT/GST,
- brokerage fees,
- and any other charges imposed by their local authorities.
Refusal to pay customs charges may result in the parcel being abandoned or returned. Shipping charges are non-refundable in these circumstances.
10. Partial Shipments
Where an order contains multiple items, we reserve the right to:
- ship items separately,
- delay shipment until all items are available,
- or cancel unavailable items and provide a refund.
11. Pre-Orders & Backorders
Products marked as “Pre-Order” or “Backorder” may have extended dispatch times.
Estimated dispatch dates are indicative only and may change due to supplier or manufacturing delays.
Customers placing mixed orders containing both in-stock and pre-order items acknowledge that the entire order may be held until all products are available unless otherwise specified.
12. Failed Deliveries & Returned Parcels
If a parcel is returned to us because:
- delivery was refused,
- the parcel was unclaimed,
- the address was incorrect,
- or delivery could not be completed,
we may:
- charge a re-delivery fee,
- deduct return shipping costs from any refund,
- or issue store credit instead of a refund where permitted by law.
13. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Shipping Policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.
Consumers may be entitled to remedies including repair, replacement, or refund where goods fail to meet consumer guarantees.
