The treatment
A stretch mark is a scar. We treat it like one.
Stretch marks form when skin stretches faster than it can adapt. Collagen and elastin fibres in the deeper skin tear and are repaired with scar tissue. New marks are red or purple; over months they fade to white and sink slightly. Nothing rubbed onto the surface reaches that layer.
Stellar Body Reset uses the Dermapen 4 to create thousands of controlled micro-channels through the mark and its edges. The skin's repair response lays down fresh collagen and elastin, thickens the thinned skin inside the mark and blends its borders. Healed surgical, caesarean and injury scars share the same structure and are treated the same way.
Clinical comparisons have found microneedling holds its own against fractional laser for stretch marks, with less downtime, and outperforms microdermabrasion. Because it works mechanically rather than with heat, it carries a lower pigmentation risk on olive and darker skin. It does not reduce fat or change body shape.

Sessions run 45 to 90 minutes depending on the area, with numbing cream applied first; most clients describe a warm, vibrating pressure. Skin is pink to red for one to three days, like moderate sunburn. Allow eight to ten months overall — judging stretch marks early is the most common reason people think treatment hasn't worked.

Stretch marks respond to a completed course, so Body Reset is offered only as six-session programs, priced by the mapped area — the marks plus the surrounding skin, both sides of the body counted together. As a guide, an open hand is roughly 100 cm². Your area is measured at your complimentary consultation, and the price you're quoted is the price you pay.

If you choose not to treat
Most stretch marks are harmless. Red marks fade on their own over six to eighteen months, though a paler line and texture usually remain. Choosing no treatment is a reasonable option, and we'll tell you if we think it's the right one for your marks. A painful, growing or changing scar, or sudden widespread new marks, deserve medical assessment first.
